 Brittany Johnson, the creative mind behind Britt’s Journals, is a passionate junk journal artist who finds inspiration in the beauty of her 12-acre farm in Oregon. As a dedicated stay-at-home mom, she cherishes every moment with her son while also caring for her many farm animals—a part of her life that brings her endless joy. 

 Brittany’s journaling journey began four years ago, and it quickly became more than just a hobby; it became a creative outlet that she deeply loves. From farm-themed journals to beautifully repurposed old books, her work reflects her love for nature, storytelling, and craftsmanship. With a palette of blues, purples, and greens, she brings a peaceful and earthy charm to every journal she creates. 

 Brittany’s passion for journaling and her gratitude for the creative community make her a valued member of Britt’s Creative Monarchs, inspiring others with her thoughtful and artful creations. 

  Jeanenne Barnes, the creative mind behind Junk Journal Journey, is a dedicated nurse, loving mom of two, and proud grandmother of five. Residing in Alabama, she balances her compassionate nature with a deep love for crafting, finding solace and joy in the art of journal making. With her two beloved fur babies by her side, Jeanenne’s craft space is her stress-free sanctuary—a place where creativity flourishes. 

  Her journey into journaling has been one of growth, courage, and self-expression. Always eager to learn and challenge herself, Jeanenne embraces new techniques with enthusiasm and a touch of humor that makes her an absolute delight to be around. She’s the kind of person who goes all in, bringing dedication and heart to everything she does. 

  Being part of her creative journey has been an honor, and I couldn’t be prouder of how she continues to put her art out into the world. She’s a true inspiration in Britt’s Creative Monarchs, proving that creativity knows no limits!  

 Karen Pittman is a talented journal artist and the creative force behind Blessed Bindings by Karen. A proud Tennessean, she is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and the loving owner of two adorable fur babies. With a heart full of kindness and creativity, Karen spends her days crafting beautiful journals and inspiring others to find joy in creativity. 

   Having enjoyed crafting for most of her life, Karen has a deep appreciation for artistic expression. She believes in the power of hobbies to bring happiness and promote a healthy mindset. Her signature styles—shabby chic and rustic—reflect her love for timeless beauty, while her favorite colors, teal and aqua, bring a refreshing vibrancy to her creations. And, of course, her love for giraffes adds a whimsical charm to everything she does! 

  Karen’s positivity, patience, and passion for teaching make her a treasured member of Britt’s Creative Monarchs. She truly has a gift for uplifting others and helping them discover the joy of journaling. 

 Colleen Orr, a talented journal artist from Oregon, is a mom and lifelong crafter who finds true joy in the creative process. For her, journaling is more than just an art form—it’s a therapeutic and grounding practice that brings daily excitement and fulfillment. She wakes up inspired, ready to craft something new and meaningful. 

  Her favorite themes include gothic, witchy, vintage, and seasonal designs, reflecting her love for both the mystical and the timeless. She also enjoys making folios and other paper crafts, always exploring new ways to express her creativity. Her favorite colors—pink, blue, and black—add a unique touch to her work, whether she’s crafting for Halloween, Christmas, or any time of the year. 

 Beyond crafting, Colleen finds happiness in her daughter, music, flowers, and nature. Her passion and artistic vision make her an incredible part of Britt’s Creative Monarchs, and it’s been inspiring to watch her creativity flourish! 

 Melissa Alexander, the heart behind Use to Be, is a wife, mother of three, and a lifelong crafter with a passion for creativity and sustainability. A kid at heart, she brings a playful and resourceful spirit to everything she creates. Junk journaling has become her latest obsession, and she fully embraces the three R’s—reduce, reuse, recycle—by transforming discarded materials into stunning works of art. 

   With a minimalist yet colorful approach, Melissa loves crafting pieces that are not only beautiful but also multipurpose. Her favorite color, purple, often finds its way into her designs, adding a touch of vibrancy to her creations. Her dedication to upcycling and seeing the beauty in everyday materials is truly inspiring. 

 Melissa has been a wonderful supporter in the journaling community, and it’s an absolute joy to celebrate and support her creative journey. She is a valued member of Britt’s Creative Monarchs, and we can’t wait to see what she makes next!  

  Junk journaling is more than just a craft for me—it’s a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and express creativity in the most unique ways. From designing interactive pop-ups to curating vintage-inspired ephemera, I love pushing the boundaries of what a junk journal can be. Through Britt Create Stuff LLC, I’ve been able to share my passion with so many wonderful creators, offering printable kits, tutorials, and live events to inspire others on their own creative journeys. 

  One of the most rewarding parts of this adventure has been building Britt’s Creative Monarchs—a team of incredibly talented artists who bring so much heart and creativity into everything they do. I am beyond grateful for each and every one of them! Watching them grow, experiment, and create such beautiful work is truly inspiring.  

 I can’t wait to see where our creativity takes us this year! With so many exciting projects and collaborations ahead, I know this is just the beginning of something amazing. Let’s make magic together!
